Rachael personally has spent over 14 years devoting her time to the arts, with her most recent role working at the strategic level to raise the awareness and promote the arts to the district.
Rachael's vision is to see the creative network in Selwyn grow, thrive and be inclusive to all community regardless of age, skill level, ethnicity, ability or any label that today's society may place on an individual. Its about sharing skills and knowledge for the people
Rachael believes that everyone is important and unique - and it is her intention that by providing this portal of information for people, that it will act as an incubator for creative talent to grow and develop. Rachael acknowledges the Selwyn Arts Trust and Selwyn District Council for their investment in her which lead to the Selwyn Creative Network being formed.
